Polymer flange

for retrofit dowelling

HSI150 DFK

For retrofit dowelling via core drill holes or for screwing onto housings. Used for the gastight and watertight connection of system seals for cables and cable ducts.

Double wall insert

for setting in concrete

HSI90 K2/X

For the gastight and watertight connection on both sides of system covers for cables and cable ducts and maximum flexibility for subsequent use.

System cover

cable seal with hot shrink-fit method

HSI150 D WS

For use in wall insert and plastic flange HSI150. The thermal sleeves support a wide area of application, they are shrunk onto the cables by means of the application of heat from the system cover socket. Empty system cover sockets can be sealed with blind plugs.

Closing cover

for empty wall inserts and plastic flanges

HSI150 DT

For pressure-tight sealing of wall inserts that are not in use and plastic flange of the HSI150 system.

Insulated earthing entry

HEA IS

Specifically for station construction. Installed during formwork work. Earthing connections to the building can be made with the thread on both sides in the electrically isolated conductor core.

Double wall insert

for setting in concrete

HSI150 K2/X

For the gastight and watertight connection on both sides of system seals for cables and cable ducts and maximum flexibility for subsequent use.

Split system cover

for retrofit sealing

HSI150 DG

For use in wall insert and polymer flange HSI150. Split design for sealing new cables to be installed or cables that have already been laid.

Individual press seal

for micro pipes and empty conduits

HRD150 b60 A2/EPDM55

Individual press seal in a closed design to seal micro pipes or empty conduits.

Site power supply entry

for secondary substations

BD

Zur temporären Stromversorgung bzw. Notversorgung von Transformatorenstationen. Mit der Baustromdurchführung können Kabel während Baumaßnahmen oberirdisch in die Station eingeführt werden. Die Stationstüren können somit geschlossen werden.

Site power supply entries

For a temporary power supply or emergency supply to substations, sealed above-ground entries – so-called site power supply entries – can already be included in the planning at the construction stage of the stations. With these entries, cables can then be fed into the substation above ground while construction work is in progress without the substation doors having to be permanently open.

Solutions for Site Power Supply Entries and Temporary Power Inlets by Hauff-Technik

Transformer stations are used as temporary power supplies for construction activities, such as new buildings. Often, connections are routed through open doors because of the lack of proper wall penetrations. This ad hoc approach is inconvenient and carries various safety risks. Hauff-Technik offers a secure alternative with their construction power inlets. These solutions deliver connections to a temporary electrical house inlet, ensuring hassle-free access to construction power.

BD System – For Temporary Site Power Supply entries and Construction Power Inlets

The BD System is composed of an intermediate pipe, two mounting frames for both the inside and outside of the building, and two closing covers. This complete set ensures that installation can be carried out immediately.

The frame size is 120 x 120 mm. The inner diameter of the pipe in the BD68 system measures 68 mm, while the pipes in the BD90 set measure 90 mm in diameter. Furthermore, Hauff-Technik provides options for various wall thicknesses, ranging from 70 to 350 mm. The mounting frames and closing covers are constructed from robust ABS, while the intermediate pipe is made from PVC.

Preparing Transformer Stations for Construction Power Supply

The construction power inlets offered by Hauff-Technik are specifically designed for permanent installation in transformer stations, allowing for efficient Site power supply entries. This enables the overhead entry and exit of power lines.

Hauff-Technik’s construction power inlets can be installed either by embedding them in concrete or by securing them to a mounting frame. This flexibility ensures that the system is suitable for permanent use in transformer houses, as well as serving as a temporary option for Site power supply entries in newly constructed buildings.

Securing Temporary Site Power Supply entries and Construction Power Inlets from Unauthorized Access

When power lines are connected at a transformer station and led out of the building, preventing unauthorized access becomes critical. This also holds true during times when the inlet is not actively used.

Hauff-Technik’s construction power inlets resolve this challenge with a specially designed locking system that requires a distinct joint face-hole key. This design ensures that the inlet remains closed and inaccessible without the appropriate tool.

Implementing a construction power inlet allows for the systematic routing of power cables into and out of a transformer station, thus negating the need for improvisational methods like running cables through an open door. Open doors can lead to security issues, allowing unwanted access by individuals or animals. A standard construction power inlet prevents such occurrences.

The same concept applies to temporary Site power supply entries in newly constructed buildings. During the construction phase, when a permanent electrical house connection has yet to be installed, these connections supply essential power to construction sites. This often leads to makeshift solutions where cables are routed through doors or windows. By employing a temporary electrical house inlet that can be securely nailed in place, construction power can be delivered while ensuring that all doors to the building remain locked and secure.

Establishing Grounding Connections for Temporary Power Supply on Construction Sites

On remote construction sites, reliable and safe temporary power supply is essential, often requiring grounding for equipment like mobile power containers. The BD site power supply entry from Hauff-Technik offers an ideal system for establishing temporary grounding connections directly on-site. These site power supply entries make it simple to safely set up grounding connections in the outdoor area, reducing risks associated with temporary power connections.

Hauff-Technik’s BD site power supply entry systems are particularly useful for construction sites, as they enable seamless routing of power cables from a temporary power source to areas where equipment is used, such as cement mixers, construction lights, and other tools. Installation is easy: the site power supply entry can be securely attached to the wooden formwork of a building shell with nails, and power cables can be safely routed to outdoor areas. For construction managers and contractors looking for a flexible, safe, and efficient grounding solution, Hauff’s temporary power solutions offer essential support for construction-site power needs.
